Lisa Shimko: TOTEM June 10- July 5 Local animal and abstract painter, Lisa Shimko, will continue to enchant viewers with her whimsical paintings which often reference environmental issues, icons, and our place in the natural world. Shimko was recently awarded the feature exhibitor at the North Charleston Arts Festival, running April 27-May 7. Her artwork was used for the 2014 Charleston Wine and Food Festival Poster, and numerous Charleston Farmers Market advertisements. A reception honoring Shimko’s newest pieces will take place June 10 from 6-8pm. All are welcome.
