Opening July 1, A Response to Paper, a group show by local artists Michael Hayes, Alan Jackson, Matthew Dietz and Hirona Matsuda using the everyman's material of paper to create a collaborative abstract work.  Their process-oriented approach centers on the organization of spontaneous mark making and while each employs the same intuitive and reactionary response to their materials, the resulting body of work intriguing in its variation.  The show runs for the month July 1 – 30.  The show will be up during the July 15 Palette and Palate Stroll featuring restaurant 5Church.
