Masculine/Feminine: New Works by Briahna Wenke, Samantha Rueter, and Amanda Bolton

Friday, March 6     5pm- 8:00pm

Charleston-based artists Briahna Wenke and Samantha Rueter explore the gender binary in their new bodies (!) of work. Using harsher palette knife strokes juxtaposed or combined with softer brushwork and color palettes, these two renowned artists play with the masculine/feminine dichotomy.  Also, featuring new Grand Bohemian Gallery artist Amanda Bolton whose ceramic figurative sculpture embody (!) the sexiness of the torso and explores how we adorn and express ourselves. Come out for First Friday Art Walk and meet the artists at our opening reception!
