The Charleston Artist Guild is pleased to present My Photographic Journey, featuring a unique collection of images by Kathy Watson. Kathy is the featured artist for the month of March. Her opening reception is on March 6, 2020.

My Photographic Journey includes macro photography, landscapes, and architecture from New Jersey and New York, as well as landscapes and wildlife from South Carolina. Kathy’s exhibit includes both color and black and white (sepia tone) images.

Kathy, a native of New Jersey, started her photographic journey in the darkroom using black and white film. Later she moved on to digital photography. Her images depict different photographic styles.  While in New Jersey, she received several Merit Awards, Honorable Mention awards, and a Best In Photography award in several different art galleries.  In 2018 Kathy and her husband retired to South Carolina. Her love of photography continues to grow here. They enjoy exploring new places to capture the beauty of the landscapes and wildlife in the Lowcountry.

Please join us for the opening reception on March 6, 2020 at the CAG Gallery, located at 160 East Bay Street, Charleston from 5 - 8 PM. Sales made help support the Guild’s non-profit community outreach programs.
