”I take my whimsy very seriously, and for this show I'm embracing it more than ever. The show’s title, ‘Call me Whimsy’, is in the spirit of knowing oneself. These past few years has been marked by personal growth and self reflection. The characters in these paintings are going through similar experiences. A lot of the experiences are universal, so I hope people can see themselves in these wondrous creatures. I hope they leave the show with a little more whimsy in their hearts.” - Nathan Durfee
