Join us on Gallery Row in the famed Charleston Historic District for an enchanting evening of fine art at Mary Martin Gallery! This September, we proudly present the artwork of Trish Weeks. “Conversations about Color” is a collection illustrating the communication through artwork – from the artist to the viewer. The expressions translated through each brush stroke and each color speaks differently to each person. What does it say to you? Join us as we welcome Trish Weeks to our Broad Street Gallery on Friday, September 7th 5-8 PM. She will be here to answer any questions and discuss the significance of “Conversations about Color”.
Trish Weeks is a passionate and intuitive oil painter taking her inspiration from her experiences in the Midwest and the Carolinas where she spends much of her time. Weeks’ paintings dance the line between expressionism and impressionism. She translates her vision to canvas with palette knife in hand with movement and enthusiasm that are evident in her cheerful compositions and complex layers of color.
